Activities

The Luberon is a chain of limestone rocks with a height of up to 1100 m. The area is mostly wooded or will be used for agricultural purposes. The hilly region offers ideal conditions for hikers and cyclists. Within a few kilometers the landscape changes again and again. Limestone cliffs alternate with gentle hills, vineyards or for the typical Provence lavender fields. This area has the highest density of swimmingpools of France. But also you can swimm into natural lakes. The cities of Aix en Provence, Avigion or Orange, but also the mediterranean coastline with the Calanques nearby Marseille, with its beautiful old town and harbour are reachable in one or two hours.
