Lodging. The Provence is no low-cost area, like many other tourists territories in France.

A good alternative to a hotel are the Chambres d'Hôtes. A bed and breakfast. In most places you can buy directly by the producers. This can be excellent wines directly from the vineyard cooperatives. In almost all places you find a market one or more times a week with excellent products directly from farmers.

Mobility. For those without a car, there are exellent bus connections. But one of the best possibilities for a sightseeing tour is by bike or by scooter. Distributors can be found everywhere.
