These original Provence landscape you can find mostly into the two departments Vaucluse and Bouches-du-Rhone.
Luberon is a long stretched hill on the north side of the Durance valley. Wine, fruits, vegetables and lavender are the main products of the area. For a long time this landscape could preserve its original coverage. Today the region is also discovered and occupied from tourists and rich citizanes. Luberon's historical significance was especially in the time of the persecution of the Vaudois, also called Waldenses.
